Ed and Sheila were born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Pastor Wilds earned a Bachelor’s degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

Ed & Sheila were married on July 30, 1970. God has blessed them with three children (Jennifer, Rebecca, & Eddie). They have two beautiful grandchildren – Sydney & Mykenzie.

Pastor Wilds and his wife, Sheila, have been faithfully serving at Palatka Baptist Temple since August of 1981.

Pastor Wilds loves the ministry that God has given to him and strives to inspire God's people to love God and serve others.  He has a real passion to reach the Putnam County area with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
